What's New in the Control Panel After Installing WooCommerce

Post by mehadihasan123456 »

After adding the online store functionality to WordPress, four new sections appeared in the sidebar: WooCommerce, Products, Analytics, and Marketing.

WooCommerce. On the main page, you will find general analytics and tips on how to develop the store. And in the subsections, you will manage orders, view customer data, create coupons, and view detailed sales statistics.

A separate point is the subsection "Settings". If the main section "Settings" stores latvia email list parameters of WordPress and the site as a whole, then here will be parameters that concern the store. For example, the currency in which prices are displayed, delivery and payment methods.

The default store currency right after installing WooCommerce is the dollar. Go to the WooCommerce - Settings section to change it.

As you can see, the top of the section contains tabs for setting up different aspects of the business. Currency is located on the "Basic" tab. Scroll down to the "Currency Settings" block, select the appropriate currency and click the "Save Changes" button at the bottom.

Products. Here you will do everything related to products in your store: add new ones and edit old ones, create categories, tags and attributes for them. We will work in this section in more detail a little later.

Analytics. This is a whole section with reports and indicators where you can track how things are going in your store, draw conclusions based on this information and plan further actions.

Marketing. This is a new section, so it's pretty barebones for now: WooCommerce management instructions and marketing articles in English, plus a separate subsection on managing coupons. Here you'll create promo codes to offer individual customers a one-time discount.

Now that you have added the functionality of an online store to WordPress, it is time to change the theme and install the add-ons necessary for further work.
