Frequently Asked Questions About Google Trends Data

Post by Rina7RS »

For those willing to go beyond basic searches, some unique insights can be gleaned.

The key is to persist in your inquiry until you find insights—even if they aren’t always obvious.

Google Trends
Google Trends provides access to a large, unfiltered sample azerbaijan mobile database of actual search requests. It is anonymized no one is identified, categorized the subject of the search query is determined, and aggregated grouped together. This allows us to show interest in specific topics at a global or city-level geographic scale.

What samples are available?
There are two examples of Google Trends data that you can access:

Real-time data is a sample of the past 7 days.
Non-real-time data is a separate sample from real-time data and dates back to 2004 and up to 36 hours prior to your search.
How representative is the search sample?
While only a sample of Google searches is used in Google Trends, this is sufficient because we process billions of searches every day. Providing access to the entire dataset would be too large to process quickly. By sampling the data, we can look at a dataset that is representative of all Google searches while finding insights that can be processed within minutes of an event happening in the real world.
