Big Data and the new challenges for marketers

The daily lives of marketing professionals are becoming increasingly complex and challenging. The number of communication and customer contact platforms has multiplied, as has the data generated by these interactions.

And with that, the challenges facing poland mobile database have increased. Especially because today's customers are more informed and demanding. They are no longer satisfied with passive information. They want interactivity. And personalization. And this will force marketers to make difficult choices. While on the one hand they cannot neglect mass marketing, on the other they must be able to satisfy the needs of existing customers, with the added problem that budgets have not increased. On the contrary, the economic crisis that Europe (and the world) is going through has caused companies to reduce their investments, in general.

This is where technology comes in, namely Big Data and analytical and data visualization tools. They are the solution to the new challenges faced by marketers. One of the advantages of using these tools is knowing where the budget is being wasted, where the investment is not achieving the expected return. According to Jonathan Gordon, from McKinsey & Company, around 15 to 20% of Marketing investment could be reinvested in other activities, without affecting the department's ROI. In an interview with The Economist, the analyst stated that better use of data (using analytical tools) could add 200 billion dollars to the global annual return on Marketing. This is based on an estimate of 1 trillion dollars spent annually.

In other words, Big Data, when combined with analytics, allows Marketing to be more assertive, which, aligned with sales, means more business and more revenue.
