Who can do two conferences, one hackathon, one section at RIW and Digital Brain Ring – an intellectual game for advertising agencies – in a month and a half? We at CoMagic can. So, a short chronological report on how we spent this autumn.
Our event marathon started on November 27 with CoRe Hackathon. Together with Yandex, we held a competition to create recommendation systems based on Yandex.Metrica and CoMagic data with solution visualization in Power BI. Three teams out of 11 reached the final. Only one of them was able to fully complete the task and build a recommendation system for real estate marketers in 28.5 hours. The work of CoRe Hackathon participants was assessed by Alexander Kulachikov (Yandex.Metrica), Maxim Uvarov (NeedForData), Alexey Sidorov (myBI and myBI Connect), Alexey Novichenko (Digital 360), Dmitry Kudinov (CoMagic) and Ilya Brodsky (CoMagic).

The baton of events on October 30 was continued by the third telegram free numbers joint conference with Yandex "Big Real Estate Conference" on the Yandex platform. Market leaders discussed marketing technologies, talked about market trends and presented their completed projects. Sergey Romensky (Yandex.Real Estate), Valery Pashchenko (CoMagic), Vera Stefan (Urban Group), Pavel Kochkin (Nmarket.PRO Russia), Yana Tachalova (AFI Development), Rita Alykova and Yulia Oleandskaya (Adventum) told how marketing changes priorities and where it redistributes financial flows, and also shared their opinions on which ideas and solutions will become top ones next year.
The main part of the reports was devoted to various aspects of marketing analytics: segmentation and targeting in advertising, use of DMP networks, technology for identifying spam calls, processing analytical data using Power BI. The speakers discussed how marketing can change business, showed cases from developers and builders on the use of end-to-end analytics , and talked about monitoring the effectiveness of marketing investments.

We didn't stop there. On November 1, CoMagic held a section at RIW'17 called "The Future of Web Analytics". Without a doubt, this was the most unusual section. The program included only 3 reports: from Alexandra Kulachikova (Yandex.Metrica), Ilya Sidorov (Google) and Dmitry Kudinov (CoMagic), and the highlight of the section was a stunning interview between Valery Pashchenko and Ilya Krasinsky (FRII, Yandex Tolstoy Camp, AlfaCamp, QIWI University, AppCraft). Internet marketing visionaries discussed the main trends in the development of analytics services, changes and capabilities of web analytics tools for the next few years, tried to predict what will almost certainly be implemented, and what, as before, we will only dream about.
And what's more – on November 8, we held AutomobileCONFʼ17. According to dealers and car dealerships, the conference was the coolest conference of the year for Russian automobile market players and marketing professionals. The conference was dedicated to marketing analytics in the automobile segment. The experts were Vera Lemekhova (Avtomir), Natalia Merkul (BUSINESS CAR), Elena Stulova (AMSchool), Artem Shalaev (Avto.ru), Alexander Ernezaks (Petrovsky Autocentre Group of Companies), Anton Vatov (Microsoft), Ivan Pal'tsev (Avtodrive.ru), and specialists from the end-to-end analytics service CoMagic.
The 12 conference reports were united by a key topic – advertising cost control and optimization tools, as well as marketing communications in the auto segment. The guests received answers to important questions: where the vector of communications with the client is shifting, how to effectively use messengers, chats and applications; they saw technological solutions from leading developers of analytical services, data processing and visualization tools, as well as cases of their application.
