Spam and Telemarketing Lists (Do Not Call Registries)

Post by badsha00313 »

Google allows you to request the removal of certain personal information, including phone numbers, from its search results if they appear on private websites without your consent or are part of doxxing.

Google's Removal Request Form: Use their dedicated form for removing personal content. You'll need to specify that the content contains your phone number and provide the URLs where it appears.

Contacting Website Owners: If your phone number is on a specific website or blog, you may need to contact the site owner directly to request removal. You can often find contact information in the "About Us" or "Contact" sections, or by performing a "Whois" search for the domain owner.
National Do Not Call Registry (for the US): Register your phone turkey phone number list number(s) on the National Do Not Call Registry. This legally prohibits telemarketers from calling you, with some exceptions (e.g., political organizations, charities, companies with whom you have an existing business relationship).
Blocking Numbers: Directly block unwanted numbers on your smartphone.

Caller ID and Spam Protection Apps: Many smartphone operating systems and third-party apps (e.g., Truecaller, Hiya) offer caller ID and spam protection features that can identify and block known spam callers. Some allow you to report spam numbers to help others.
Unlisting from Truecaller: Truecaller, a popular caller ID app, allows users to unlist their numbers from its database. Be aware that unlisting from Truecaller means you lose their spam protection and caller identification benefits.
