FInally time to call Bloomfield Publications. The man I spoke to agreed to meet me the same day at his bookshop in Sudbury, which is in Suffolk. It took a couple hours to get there by train; it was refreshing to see the English countryside. Sudbury is a beautiful rural town. Bloomfield Publications has its headquarters in a modern middle class home on a peaceful suburban street -- an unlikely place to find a radical publisher! I met Mr. M's secretary, who invited me to look through their selection of books; Mr. M arrived half an hour later.

The atmosphere was clean and pleasant. There were a few hundred titles to choose from; the secretary suggested I may want one of each title. This clearly was business. I found some very interesting titles right away: The International Jew by Henry Ford and The Jews by Hilaire Belloc. There were several titles that I had been especially interested in phone number list locating. Mr. M introduced himself and helped select the books of most interest. We had a very productive conversation for about an hour. He pointed out several current titles (1986) that I had not been aware of. I learned much in speaking to Mr. M. He explained that "The Britons", which had published anti-Semitic literature for decades prior to 1980, had changed its name to "The Augustine"; "The Britons" had been a Catholic publisher!

I was amazed to learn this, but even more amazed to discover that Mr. M is a Christian, and that audience. It distributes its books by mail, not through book stores. I purchased about a dozen books worth £80. He gave me catalogues of his titles and encouraged me to contact him in the future. After hearing about Gordon Press and Revisionist Press in detail, he recognized what was being said, saying that his customers often tell of a publisher that advertises the same titles but at much higher prices. Interestingly, he strongly supported some "patriotic" Jewish writers, Larry Abraham for example. After mentioning plans to visit the BNP the next day, he tried to discourage me from doing so.
