You need a new perspective

Post by mstakh.i.mom.i »

You've probably been at this point before: you have a big task, a large-scale project, you want to work on your career and make a name for yourself, but somehow you lack the right motivation. You feel overwhelmed by the mountain of work that lies ahead of you and you don't really know how to start, so you keep putting off starting. But you know that you should start, even if it's just to finally get it done.

If we look at the situation mathematically, one thing becomes very construction email list clear very quickly. Imagine that you only do your job "by the book" for the next year. You give 100%, but that won't get you any further, because 1^365 = 1. After this year, you will still be where you started.

Now imagine that you do a little extra work every day and put in a little more effort. You don't have to do a mountain of work every day and exhaust yourself completely, it's enough if you do one percent more every day. Mathematically, this looks like this: 1.01^365 = 37.8 .

Do you see how big a difference it makes if you do just a little more than you have to every day? Imagine what you could achieve with that little extra effort.
