The Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) is understood to be the alternative economic model that focuses its efforts on social and cultural goals , whereas the traditional economy remains focused on increasing its profits and capital. The two models are not incompatible and can coexist in a capitalist system . They are also an object of study in their own right, in that they allow us to experiment and create new paths, new structures, even new models, which could benefit the economic system as a whole.
