As we have said many times, vocabulary is the basis for progressing in any language. One of the pillars of English vocabulary is phrasal verbs , which, in case you haven't come across them yet, are verbs made up of two or more elements.

A good way to study them is to group them by topic and learn several similar ones together. Call phrasal verbs
Phrasal verbs that have the word call tend to be related to “calling”, whether it is calling someone by name, on the phone, or in the sense of attracting. Look at these examples:

Call after : to name someone after another person.
They called him George after his grandfather . — They called him George, like his grandfather.

Call in : come and visit.

Call off :

Call out : to ask for something in a general way or say something out loud.
