Do Russians trust their digital profiles?
The pilot was launched in 2020, and since then citizens have used the digital profile 55 million times. Stanislav Shilov from BSS believes that this is not much. "For comparison, on average, over 48 million applications were submitted per month through Gosuslugi in 2023 - if we add to this the number of requests from banks and other financial organizations for data in government systems, the number will be several orders of magnitude higher," explained Stanislav Shilov.
According to statistics from DOM.RF bank, clients who independently submit an application and use the digital profile service enter into a transaction 7-10 days earlier.
"In 2023, 53% of mortgage transactions in DOM.RF bank were approved through the bank's website.
