To ensure additional security and law and order during the New Year holidays, the regional Ministry of Digital Development is preparing to connect more than 50 video surveillance cameras from the central streets of the regional center.
Next year, it is planned to introduce new digital services based on the complex. One of them is the "Open Portal of the APCS "Safe City". After authorization through State Services, citizens will have access to information about the location of video cameras and will be able to submit a request for storing video material for a month - to obtain a video fragment from the crime scene.
Another socially significant digital service, which will be launched in 2024, is designed to search for people, especially for missing children. After contacting the 112 service with a statement about searching for a person, a citizen will receive a link on his phone, by which he will be able to upload a photo of the missing person. Law enforcement officers will be able to quickly receive a photo for further work on the search using biometric video analytics.
In 2024, the video surveillance and video analytics system will be modernized, and the capabilities of the complex for establishing video streams will be expanded. First Deputy Governor Yuri Petukhov approved the project development directions and instructed the working group to implement services taking into account the specified deadlines.
