Sin number 2: sharing everything you can

Twitter - You're Doing It Wrong
Tomorrow I'm hosting Tweetup Polska, so here's a short guide on "what not to do on Twitter". Despite the appeals, many users still make the same mistakes. Maybe this post will spread enough that some of you will finally understand what this medium is all about. So read the list of sins that you or your followers are probably committing:

Sin number 1 – Connecting to Facebook

A basic mistake that, for me, clashes with the very idea of using several social media channels at once. I understand that if you want to share the same thought with different environments, you want to write it on both Twitter and Facebook. But at least in different words! There is nothing worse than a user whose tweets are automatically published statuses from efbecja and nothing else. If you do this, think about it - do you need this Twitter at all?

Waiting at the club? A tweet is coming. Did you post a photo on Facebook or Instagram? A tweet is coming. Did you like a video on YouTube? A tweet is coming. This option is useful, but used wisely. Seriously, Twitter is not a chronicle of your social south africa rcs data activities. Curb the urge to share everything. Especially since sharing alone does nothing for me. It's great that you recommend this song on Spotify, but maybe tell me why you're doing it? What did it touch in you? It will be more valuable to me and will help me get to know you instead of reading automatically generated messages.

Sin number 3: stupid apps

I don't really care who unfollowed you today. Especially since I can guess why they did it and I agree with them - you spam my wall with tweets like that. I don't use auto-publishing apps because it's pointless and goes against the idea of building relationships. Why do I need a welcome tweet or a welcome DM that welcomes me to your group of followers when I know it's sent automatically, not by you ? Am I supposed to feel special? Why would they - because they write to me the same thing they write to everyone else? If you want to act polite, write something from yourself.
