The way enterprises adopt advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI varies slightly depending on which experts they trust, how they classify the technologies, and what problems they solve. However, these technologies have captured the attention of both practitioners who provide hands-on support for IT operations and senior executives who recognize their potential to reduce costs, increase revenue, accelerate innovation, and improve competitiveness.

Last year, Gartner reported that enterprise AI deployments in production reached 19%. As it becomes more popular, driven by growing vendor support, a growing pool of AI professionals, and a slew of technological advances, enterprises will increasingly have opportunities to find new uses for it that they hadn’t previously considered.
