As such, I recommend the AMD Ryzen 7 9700X to people looking to upgrade from the older Ryzen 5000 series, or to those interested in building a PC with excellent power efficiency that doesn’t require expensive cooling. While the Ryzen 7 9700X is a solid processor, I feel like AMD stole a page from Intel’s playbook and made fewer improvements than they could have.

The AMD Ryzen 7 9700X comes in a similar package to its Ryzen 7000 series predecessors, with a minimalist design that has few details. The box has a 7 label visible, and a small cutout on the top lid allows you to see the processor itself.

Inside you'll find the processor, an AMD Ryzen 7 sticker, an iceland telegram data installation guide, and some warranty information.

Overall, the packaging looks good and is functional. It is worth noting that AMD does not include a cooler in the package, so you will have to purchase one separately, which increases the cost of acquisition.

Technical characteristics of the equipment
The Ryzen 7 9700X is a mid-range desktop processor from AMD’s latest Ryzen 9000 series, built on the new Zen 5 architecture. This architecture promises up to 16% more IPC operations per clock compared to Zen 4, resulting in better performance at similar clock speeds. One of the key factors behind this improvement is the move to a more advanced 4nm process compared to the 5nm used in the previous generation. This not only improves efficiency, but also helps control temperatures.
