We implemented the integration of the internal marketplace with SAP in several steps:
We registered endpoints – input addresses on the site that will receive certain requests (example romania mobile database will accept only a certain set of fields that describe the client, tax identification number, name, address, telephone number, etc.
We programmed the queries themselves with their structure, field properties, and data types;
Mapping of the received fields was performed. At this stage, the way in which the received data from requests within MP and SAP will be laid out is programmed;
We clicked the “Save” button, tested it and released it on the customer’s server.
In the future, the internal marketplace can be further developed to implement the following scenarios and functions:
Supplier's personal account (technical access to the MP server from the Internet is required);
Viewing of orders from subordinates by managers;
Display of analogues and components in the product card;
Sending analytics on orders to managers by email;
Integration with AD/LDAP for regular updating of the user list on the marketplace.
The marketplace we have developed is a universal and flexible platform. If desired, it can be easily integrated with any business systems and customized to meet customer requirements. The share of modifications in relation to the total volume of the platform code is from 30 to 70% and depends on the depth of the changes. And it makes no difference what it is integrated with - ERP, MES, PLM, WMS or CRM systems, accounting or logistics software.
