Among the fairly large number of legislative IT/IS innovations that came into force in 2018, one can highlight the Federal Law of July 26, 2017 No. 187-FZ "On the Security of the Critical Information Infrastructure of the Russian Federation" . Its relevance is already evident because it was adopted as an independent law, and not as amendments to previously existing documents. But this also shows that we are talking about regulating a new (for legislation) IT sphere, and therefore it can be expected that the process of practical application of the law will undergo a completely natural "grinding in".
