Geolocation offers enormous opportunities to be closer to our potential customers. A study by BookingSuites reveals that 4 out of 10 people access hotel websites through mobile devices, which are also the most used during the holiday season.
Today's tourists are no longer just looking for a hotel mexico mobile database room or a dinner at a restaurant: they are looking for a global experience that is distinctive and enriching in all its components. Market segmentation and analysis can help us design an experience that is truly unique for our clients.
3) Tourism content marketing
Another widely used strategy is to generate content of interest to users. Articles and other content related to tourism are created so that users can find the information they are looking for and share it: in this way, we circulate the brand and also increase the positioning of the page organically.
TOURISM MARKETING EXAMPLES:
In 2018, a variety of brands launched creative and innovative tourism marketing campaigns. Below, we share seven examples curated and selected by Econsultancy, the leading digital marketing consultancy.
Tourism Ireland : Towards the end of the year, Tourism Ireland launched ‘Fill Your Heart with Ireland’, the first global marketing campaign using heart rate data. To do this, it asked a couple to wear the custom-made technology during a holiday in Ireland (as well as head-mounted cameras). It then tracked their physiological responses to various experiences and used the data to determine which images were included in the final advert. The idea was to show the heart-warming effect Ireland has on visitors through raw data (and not through online reviews or biased opinions). By combining storytelling with technology, the campaign certainly touched the hearts of its audience, as it had intended.
