According to data from the B2c e-commerce Observatory of the School of Management of the Milan Polytechnic, physical and digital gift cards will lead to a turnover that will go from 5.7 billion euros in 2020 to almost 16 billion by 2028.
According to a survey of over 2,000 US consumer usa student data (source: First Data ), it emerged that:
44% of respondents entered a new store to redeem a gift voucher (otherwise they would not have gone there),
while 53% of them said they visit a store more often after spending gift card money there.
This means that many times the gift card gives the opportunity to new customers to discover you , to try your products, your courtesy, the atmosphere of your store. And once they are there, you do everything you can to not let them slip away .
