What does WAMAG actually do?
WAMAG is a family-owned Czech company that was founded in 1994. The company is still run by the descendants of the founder, Mr. Otto Kolář. Today, it is based in Mníšek pod Brdy.
The company specializes in magnetic separation and the production of magnetic systems. It designs demanding machines for operations. It deals with innovations and efficiency in magnetism. The efficiency of their machines also saves the environment. You can find more at wamag.cz.
When a company needs to beautify
The new website was created as part of a comprehensive brand redesign. The company had grown and acquired international technology partners . The old logo suddenly did not reflect an innovative approach. All graphic materials, including the website, did not present WAMAG as a modern manufacturer, in a word, they were too retro.

The first step was to change the overall look – the Idealisti agency homeowner database came on the scene , helping to create a new graphic identity. They designed the logo, brochures, website, printed promotional items and machines – basically everything that visually presents the brand. How the website was created
We started working on the new website at the beginning of last year. WAMAG didn't just want a pretty face, they wanted to design the website in a way that would better meet their goals and help them acquire new customers.

As always, we started with an initial study. Idealists found out how the brand wanted to present itself, but in the beginning we didn't really know anything about how customers now perceive the brand , how they use the internet, and how to make their search easier. And who else could we ask than our customers?
The initial study included a telephone survey . We wanted to know what information and products customers were looking for. For example, we asked about:
How did you find out about WAMAG?
What information were you looking for on the website? Did you find it?
Did you choose from several companies? Which ones? What made you choose WAMAG?
How did you contact WAMAG? What was the process like?
For example, we found that most of the respondents learned about the company through recommendations. Search will not be our main source of traffic. Some even thought that another company did not even make such magnetic products.
