The history of NFC begins in the distant 1983. On May 17, Charles Welton (an electrical engineer by education) receives a patent for a “portable radio frequency emitter-identifier”. This is how the very concept of RFID (radio frequency identification, i.e. a method of automatic identification via radio signal) appears.
On March 18, 2005, Nokia, Royal Philips Electronics, and Sony Corporation founded the NFC Forum, a non-profit association to bulgaria mobile database and standardize NFC technology for use in consumer electronics, computers, and mobile devices.
