Benefits of AirDrop

Post by bitheerani319 »

With AirDrop, you can send anything: photos, contacts, websites, documents, notes, utilities from the App Store, geolocation. But what about messengers? Can you send all this through them? Yes, but not as quickly and not in unlimited quantities.

In addition, AirDrop, although it uses Wi-Fi and Bluetooth networks, only as tools to create a local encrypted peer-to-peer network. This means that you can transfer files even where there is no Internet.

While NFC technology, which is used in egypt mobile database phones, requires devices to be close to each other, AirDrop can provide a greater range.

Disadvantages of AirDrop
The technology has perhaps one drawback: it can only be used on relatively new Apple devices:

Macbook Air and Pro laptops from 2008 and newer.
Mac computers from 2009 and earlier
iPhone 5th generation and newer
Tablets iPad Pro, mini, Air.
The fact is that old gadgets do not support the LE module in Bluetooth and have outdated Wi-Fi modules.

Conclusions
AirDrop is one of the most convenient, but underrated features in the iPhone and other Apple devices. Encryption makes the transfer secure, and the lack of preliminary setup makes it simple. No messengers, no mail, no file sharing services are needed. And file downloads are faster than via Bluetooth. The whole process takes a couple of clicks and a few seconds. Everything is as Apple likes it: as convenient as possible for the user.
