A future of present decisions

The year 2022 has undoubtedly been a period of intense political and economic challenges. The pandemic and the war in Ukraine have left devastating financial scars that will continue to affect the situation in many countries around the world for a long time to come.
Over the past ten years, the City of Niterói has strengthened its technical area by establishing several actions for finland mobile database management and modernization of the city. And this has allowed Niterói to be resilient to overcome periods of crisis. If it were not for the modernization of systems, the financial reserve and the technical qualification of teams, it would have been impossible to develop policies in record time to mitigate the effects of the pandemic, save lives and guarantee food security for impoverished families.
All of this is also the result of a government that projects the future based on a long-term vision. This is how we created the Niterói We Want Plan 2013-2022 and a management methodology oriented by goals and results. Sectoral and institutional plans are linked to this broader planning strategy of the City Hall. Last year, at the Finance Department, we created a Participatory Institutional Plan with goals for four years and project portfolios that are renewed annually.
