Management based on forgetting?

Before I had a systematic management method of my own, there were many things in my daily life that I “had to remember”. For example, "I have to hand in a report on a mechanics experiment tomorrow," "There is a small test in engineering mathematics the day after tomorrow," "I have to prepare notes for surveying on Thursday," and "I also have to buy the textbook for the Sunday programming course," etc. Sometimes I go to the mall to buy something, but when I get to the store I suddenly can’t remember what I want to buy. When I got home, I realized with regret, "Oh, I forgot to buy batteries."
I think this experience is not unfamiliar to many people.
