Five years ago, TikTok launched Family Pairing , its whatsapp number list control system . Since then, it has been rolling out new features to improve the service, relying on feedback from families and working with experts in the field.
Time Away
Now, the Chinese social network has introduced Time Away , a new feature included in Family Sync that will allow parents to block their teens' TikTok account activity during times of their choosing . Parents can also set a recurring schedule that suits their family life.
If plans change, teens can request additional time , but the final decision will remain with their parents.
