A determining factor in the choice of the name and logo was the idea of the format owner (Antonio) to position himself towards a medium/high spending target differently from before (medium/low spending target).
For the name, having to convey elegance, luxury, institutionality, the british student data French language was chosen (Atelier became Atel) combined with “Hair”, a term that makes the brand international.
The naming is accompanied by a payoff that transfers the Italian component to the brand by recalling the Italian quality, linked to fashion, from which the brand draws inspiration.
The positioning also influenced the “design” part: in fact, a font with serifs was chosen and, given the short naming, everything was written in capital letters to convey a sense of solidity and institutionality.
The final meaning is that of the Hair Atelier
