What types of Amazon Advertising are there?

Post by sakibkhan22197 »

There are three main types of ads you can configure and run through Amazon Advertising. This includes Sponsored Products Ads, Headline Search Ads, and Product Ads.

1. Sponsored Product Ads
Sponsored Product Ads work similarly to ads you can run through the Google Shopping Network. Essentially, they're ads that direct Amazon searchers directly to a specific product you sell on Amazon.

If a potential customer clicks on your sponsored product ad, they'll be redirected directly to your product detail page. These ads are typically displayed above or below search results, as well as on other product detail pages. The ads are displayed based on specific keywords. As an advertiser, you have the option of choosing between exact, phrased, or a certain costa rica phone number data range of keyword matches. Budgets can be controlled and planned using a daily budget and campaign duration. A campaign can be paused at any time—although a campaign must run for at least one day.

2. Headline search ads
Headline search ads are always displayed above the search results as headline banner ads. These ads are billed on a cost-per-click basis and redirect the searcher to a specific page on Amazon.

These ads are also displayed based on keywords and can be used to promote three or more products together. The minimum bid per keyword in the US is 10 cents. You can choose between two keyword match types: exact keywords and keyword phrases. The campaign budget for these ads in the US is at least $100, with a limit of $1 per day. Amazon Germany is likely to charge similar prices for budgeting.

One advantage of this campaign format is that such campaigns can be planned up to four months in advance in Amazon Advertising.

3. Amazon Product Display Ads
This ad format works slightly differently than the first two ad formats. These ads are not displayed based on keywords, but rather on interest- or product-related triggers.

As an advertiser, you can select from a long list of products or prospects, so that these ads are then displayed to relevant shoppers with specific interests. Please note that each campaign is limited to only one target type. These ads ultimately appear on the right or bottom of search results, on customer review pages, at the top of the offer page, and in Amazon marketing emails.
