Asking the Meeting Organizer or Another Participant

Post by roseline371274 »

For a Scheduled Meeting (Before Joining): If the meeting is scheduled and appears in your Teams calendar, you can click on the meeting event within the Teams calendar. This will open the meeting details pane. Look for the "Join by phone" or "Audio conference" section, which should display the phone number and conference ID, similar to the information in the email invitation.

During an Ongoing Meeting: If you are already in a Teams meeting using the application thailand phone number list and realize you need to switch to phone audio (e.g., due to audio issues on your computer), you can often find the dial-in information within the meeting window.

Look for the "..." (More options) menu in the meeting controls.
Clicking on "More options" might reveal an option like "Meeting details" or "Call in information."
Selecting this option should display a summary of the meeting information, including the dial-in phone number and conference ID. This is particularly useful if you've misplaced the original invitation.
3. The "Find a Local Number" Link

As mentioned earlier, meeting invitations often include a "Find a local number" link. This link is invaluable if the primary number provided is a long-distance number for you. Clicking this link will redirect you to an official Microsoft webpage that lists audio conferencing phone numbers organized by country and region.

How to use it: Click the link in the invitation. On the Microsoft page, find your country or region in the list. You will see a list of available phone numbers for that location. Choose the most convenient number for you to dial. Remember that you will still need the Conference ID from your meeting invitation to join the specific meeting.

If you've exhausted the above options and still cannot find the phone number, the simplest solution is often to directly ask the meeting organizer or another participant who you know has the invitation. They can quickly provide you with the necessary dial-in number and conference ID.
