The rest of the day was spent lounging

Christmas this year (last year?!) was one of the best yet! Once I got out of work on Tuesday (the day before Christmas Eve) I headed straight to the nail salon for a mani/pedi. I wound up getting a glittery gold color just like I wanted, which was festive and fun.

Once I got home, Fabio and I opened up a bottle of champagne and toasted each other to the start of our Christmas vacation!

We spent the rest of the evening blasting Christmas tunes and packing for our trip to Jamaica. It was so fun!
Christmas Eve
I lounged around a bit on Christmas Eve morning, before eventually getting a workout in and finishing up some packing. Then it was time to head over to my Grandparents’ house for our annual Christmas Eve celebration!

My aunt, uncle, and cousins were in town for the holidays, which was a lot of fun. It reminded me of Christmas as a kid!

We hung around for a while catching up, munching on snacks, watching Home Alone, and dataset drinking wine, and then it was time for dinner!

My Grandma usually makes a Thanksgiving-esque meal for Christmas, which is always delicious.

Here’s my plate of turkey, green beans, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and a roll! I went back for gravy after taking this picture.

The stuffing this year was particularly good, and I enjoyed every last bite. Yum!!
