What is passive income? Work done once brings us profits for a long time, and I would even dare say, for life. An example of such work would be writing a book. We write it once, and it takes us a certain amount of time—a month, three months, six months, a year, etc. Once we finish it and submit it to a publisher, we profit from the sale. We did the work once (we wrote the book), and now we're reaping the profits.
Another example would be a regular bank deposit. Can you survive on the interest on such a deposit? We'd have to save 500,000 PLN to receive a monthly payment of 2,000 PLN in interest. Can we earn half a million? Of course. But how much time will that cost us?! 20 years? 30? Of course, it depends on our full-time job, which is NOT passive income.
Another example would be real estate. We own a property, and then we receive monthly rental income.
Why isn't a full-time job passive income? Well, by working, we're list to data selling our time. When we're employed, our employer pays us for giving them our free time. It's thanks to us that they earn money. When we take time off (meaning we're not working at the moment), we don't earn money. When we're sick, bedridden, or in the hospital, we don't earn either.
Passive income is when, no matter what happens, we always receive a fee. You could say, "Whether you stand or lie down, you get paid." This familiar saying is quite similar to passive income. Except that we can stand or lie down when we've done our job.
In every network marketing company I know, there's the possibility of creating passive income. Each company has a different marketing plan. My choice was FM Group, which started its journey with perfumes. Currently, they also offer household chemicals (the FOR hoME product line) and business products, and the upcoming mobile phone service, FM Group Mobile, will earn a commission for every złoty spent on a phone/prepaid/internet plan.
