When is the best time to post on social media?

Post by Fgjklf »

While it's important to be experts in what we sell, we also need to know how to leverage social media to optimize certain processes, such as getting more likes, engagement, and followers.

Even if we have a large offline base, it doesn't mean it's enough to simply post content and hope for the likes to roll in automatically. So the same question always arises: When is the best time to post my content? When will my audience be most engaged, ready to interact and like?

Best days and times to post on each social network
Every year, several studies are updated to country email list help us identify the times when people are most connected to each social network. Here are the most relevant data:

Instagram :

Best hours: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Best days: Tuesday and Wednesday
Worst days: Saturdays and Sundays
Facebook :

Best hours: 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Best days: Monday to Thursday
Worst days: Saturdays and Sundays
Twitter (X) :

Best hours: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Best days: Tuesday and Wednesday
Worst days: Saturdays and Sundays
LinkedIn :

Best hours: 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Best days: Tuesday and Wednesday
Worst days: Saturdays and Sundays
TikTok :

Best hours: From 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Best days: Tuesday and Wednesday
Worst days: Sundays
YouTube :

Best hours: 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
Best days: Thursday, Friday and Saturday
Worst days: Monday and Sunday morning
If we analyze the data, we see that the best days to post on most networks are Tuesdays and Wednesdays, when there's more activity. However, weekends, especially Saturdays and Sundays, tend to have less interaction because many people are offline.

Timing is also key. Instagram, Facebook, Twitter (X), and LinkedIn perform best in the morning and midday, when users check their feeds before starting their day or during breaks. TikTok peaks in the afternoons, when people are looking for quick entertainment, while YouTube excels in the evenings and on weekends, when there's more time to watch long videos.

Does this mean that if you follow these schedules exactly, you'll get the results you expect? Probably not. Posting during peak times increases your chances of reaching more people, but it doesn't guarantee success. Ultimately, these schedules are based on general user behavior studies , but every community is different.
