Main pages and topic clusters

Post by rifathasan »

Column pages are high-level pieces of content that provide extensive information on a main topic. All main pages have internal links to comprehensive articles on subtopics related to the main topic. While creating topic pages on your site isn’t necessarily a cutting-edge concept, it does take a lot of time and resources. However, having multiple topic clusters strengthens your internal linking profile and builds your topical authority in the eyes of Google’s crawlers.

PageRank formation
PageRank sculpting is the process of using your site’s PageRank more strategically through internal links and nofollow tags . What often happens is that site owners direct link equity to pages that simply physician database don’t need to rank! PageRank is hard enough to earn, so wasting it on pages that don’t add value or convert users is less than ideal. While users can no longer see their PageRank, Google still views PageRank as an indicator of the authority and value of web pages. Most of your site’s PageRank will be concentrated on the homepage, so navigation and footer links are extremely important. For more information on how to use this strategy, check out this guide to PageRank sculpting.
