How should I organize my ad groups?

Post by rifathasan »

The cool thing is that you decide how to distribute your ad groups . You can split them by services offered, customer intent, different promotions, etc. Just do it systematically and in a way that makes the most sense to you to make it easier to manage .

How many ad groups should there be in one campaign?
Each campaign should have no more than 7-10 ad groups. You'll likely need even fewer. The more centralized to your main goals or offers, the better. If you have a ton of ad groups, that's a sign you need a different campaign!

How many keywords should be in one ad group?
Each ad group should have no mor teacher database than 20 keywords. With all the keyword updates, we don’t need as many as we used to. Stick to your core terms and don’t muddy the waters with too many variations. For Display keywords, this number can be 3-5 or none at all, as this campaign type relies more on audience targeting.

How many ads should there be in one ad group?
You should aim to have 2-3 ads in each ad group. Now that responsive search ads are the only type of search ads you can create, having fewer ads will help you get further. And as I said above, you shouldn’t just have one ad per keyword group. You should try different variations to see what works best. For example, you might have two ads targeting a keyword group related to tax preparation software: one ad with a negative sentiment and one with a positive sentiment.
