The differences between the Electronic Service for Certified Delivery (SERC) and the Electronic Service for Qualified Certified Delivery (SERCQ)
Here we are at a delicate and important point, the one concerning the differences between SERC and SERCQ . The eIDAS regulation that we have reported just above is exhaustive in this regard. However, we summarize everything below, in a clear and precise manner.

The SERC enables the electronic transmission of data between namibia whatsapp resource third parties, provides evidence of the processing of the transmitted data, including evidence of sending and receiving the data, and protects the transmitted data from the risk of loss, theft, damage or unauthorized modification. It also meets the required principles of “accurate date and time of sending and receiving”.

What SERC lacks are guarantees, with high levels of security, of the identification of the sender, first of all. And then of the recipient, in the phases preceding the transmission of the data.

And these are precisely the characteristics and standards guaranteed, instead, by the Qualified Electronic Delivery Service (SERCQ) . In the context of the European Union, the SERC and SERCQ systems are now very widespread, at all levels. Italy, in this sense, constitutes an anomaly.

Currently, in our country we only have PEC . However, Italian legislation already allows the use of SERCQ services: translated, it is only a matter of time before they become widely available here too. Preparing for all this in advance, therefore, can constitute an important competitive advantage.

Also, pay attention to this other aspect. There are important developments on the horizon precisely on the PEC front, which could soon adapt to the SERCQ standards . We will talk about it in the next paragraph.
