How WooCommerce Does Design

Post by rifathasan »

As with many other aspects of WooCommerce, when it comes to aesthetics, the world is your oyster. You just need to put in a few hours. WooCommerce is a plugin created by the developers at WooThemes (and acquired by Automattic). As such, it doesn’t have any specific design features. It provides you with the means to sell products and services online. However, the design part is left to your current or future WordPress theme. WooCommerce was built to work with most themes on the market, as long as they follow standard guidelines and best practices.

This means that in most cases, you can pick any WordPress theme you like and make it work with WooCommerce. However, you can also come across themes that have been built with WooCommerce finland number data in mind from the ground up and are designed to make all of your product/service listings look great. If the design of the eCommerce store itself is particularly important to you, you should look for themes that are specifically built for WooCommerce. A good place to start is Woo’s own default eCommerce theme called Storefront (free).

It’s a really powerful design that focuses on all of the important elements of an eCommerce store. You can also purchase a number of child themes for Storefront in case you want to customize the look of your store even further. Most child themes are available for $39 each (though you can occasionally find WooCommerce themes that go up to $119 ). If you’re a developer with eCommerce clients, they have a $399 package that gets you all of the themes in the library. Additionally, you can check out marketplaces like ThemeForest, which has hundreds of other WooCommerce-compatible themes. Honestly, WooCommerce has a serious advantage over Shopify when it comes to design . Shopify has some great themes, but they’re limited to what you can find in the Shopify theme store. WooCommerce, on the other hand, is open source , so there are tons of developers selling (or giving away) incredible WooCommerce themes for a variety of industries and purposes.
