After the merchant has done his job, he simply closes the deal and that's it. His job is done. The contract for the new license is signed, and the payment has arrived to the bank account.
Next, a technical specialist comes on the scene, accurate mobile phone number list whose job is not to sell, but to fulfill the obligations imposed by the new contract. Based on the deal closed by the salesperson in the sales direction, a deal for license support is automatically formed.
This new deal contains all the data on the tariff, term and other necessary information. When a deal appears, a technical specialist is automatically assigned the task of issuing a new license. After the specialist specifies the start date of the new license, its end date is automatically calculated and then the deal begins to accompany the license without any human intervention.
What does license support consist of?
Accompaniment means the following: on the license activation date, the transaction that accompanies this license will receive the status of “active license” and will no longer bother anyone until one of the above settlement dates.
On the date when there are less than 30 days left until the license expires, the deal status changes to "< 30 days", at the same time, the person responsible for the license will receive a notification that there are less than 30 days left until the license expires. Then (sometimes these dates coincide with the previous one) there comes a date when a deal is created to sell the license for a new term (and from this point on the cycle repeats itself over and over again). Then the support deal status changes to "< 10 days". As a result, the deal is closed on the license expiration date.
Why is license support divided into several statuses for transactions?
If we return to the section "At the entrance we have", then in paragraph 9 we learn that it is important for the client to understand the term of the license. For this purpose, the following points of division of all licenses are provided:
active licenses;
licenses that have 30 days or less left before expiration;
licenses that have 10 days or less left before expiration.
This is necessary to perform the control function. If we see that we have transactions that are due to expire in less than 10 days, it is time to sound the alarm. After all, we may not have time to complete the license documents and leave the client without software during the process, and this is very undesirable.
