Tax rate and payment deadlines

Post by sadiksojib35 »

In Russia, the VAT rate is not always the same. Its size depends on the type of products sold or services provided:

20% is the basic rate that applies to most products and services.
10% is a reduced rate that applies to certain socially significant goods and services in order to increase their availability to the end consumer. These include: certain categories of food products; medical venezuela whatsapp number data drugs, products, goods; products intended for children: clothing, footwear, school supplies, etc.
0% - applies to exports, international transportation and some other operations.
The value added tax rate is determined by the type of product or service and whether it is sold domestically or exported.

VAT is paid quarterly: no later than the 28th day of the month following the corresponding expired quarter. It is allowed to “split” the payment into three months in equal parts.

For example, if we talk about paying VAT for the second quarter of the year, the first tranche in the amount of 1/3 of the total amount of accrued tax must be paid no later than July 28. The second tranche in the same amount - up to and including August 28. And the last third tranche - up to September 28.

If the 28th falls on a day off, the tax payment deadline for that month is "moved" to the next working day. For example, from Saturday to Monday (i.e. from the 28th to the 30th).
