This was stated by the general director of ANO Dialogue Vladimir Tabak at the forum "Dialogue on Fakes 2.0" on November 20.

"There are two well-known fact-checking organizations in the world: the International Fact-Checking Network (IFCN) and the European Fact-Checking Standards Network (EFCSN). We looked at the map and realized that more than 120 countries are not covered by these two organizations. We believe that these countries should be given the opportunity to become members of the new international association of fact-checkers, the Global Factchecking Network (GFCN)," said Vladimir Tabak, CEO of ANO Dialog.
is to unite the international fact-checking community and those participants who share the views and values of Russia, as well as to formulate uniform standards for fact-checking and training.

According to Vladimir india telegram Tabak, the new association will have a different management principle - collegial. The association will have a collegial council that will decide whether to accept or exclude an organization or citizen - individuals will also be able to join the organization.

"We will provide the association members with access to the ANO Dialog dashboard. This is an IT solution that allows you to collect links to fake news, filter and mark them. Processing from collecting invoices to blocking messages is automatic and is carried out around the clock. Information about fakes is stored indefinitely," said Vladimir Tabak.

The fakes dashboard is a CRM system that will allow you to record not only fake messages in real time on different platforms, but also group them and process them: from collecting invoices for refutation to blocking a message on a resource. Automated data collection and processing occurs around the clock, the data will be stored indefinitely.

According to ANO Dialog, any news item from 2021 can be found on the platform, where 13.5 thousand fakes and about 30 million of their copies have already been collected; each fake will have a corresponding card with a link, and then the AI will search for links to similar materials and add them to the fake collection; if a fake harms public safety, the data will be transferred to the relevant law enforcement agencies; in addition, the system is capable of finding deepfakes.

According to ANO Dialog, the association is ready to provide access to the platform and conclude agreements with fact-checkers to make it possible to refute the flow of information “produced from outside.”

The association's key partners are the New Media Workshop, which will teach how to distinguish fakes, including online on the platform, and the TASS news agency.

The general director of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise "ITAR-TASS" Andrei Kondrashov noted that TASS and ANO "Dialog" have had a fact-checking project for three years now, and the news agency itself has a section "Verified by TASS", which contains verified information.

According to him, fact-checking is a historic mission for TASS, and the issue of creating a large organization or platform for this, including one that includes artificial intelligence, has been brewing for a long time.

"The new association of fact-checkers, the Global Factchecking Network, will be able to include countries that are not covered by the two existing organizations, which sometimes only carry out a political mission and often have nothing in common with real objective fact-checking," added Andrey Kondrashov.
