To help business owners sell more products this holiday season with discounts and promo codes, Meta is offering promotional ads to more advertisers in the US, UK, Canada and Australia.
More advertisers will be able to use reminder ads trinidad and tobago b2b leads and upload ad creatives in Ads Manager. Additionally, reminder ads can now run in Instagram Stories.
Meta is exploring a paid monthly subscription model for ad-free versions of Facebook and Instagram in the European Union, the Wall Street Journal reported. The plan will cost around €10 (£8.68) per account per month for desktop access or €13 (£11.28) for mobile access. Additional linked accounts will incur additional fees.
Our take: We know that the EU's new privacy laws do limit their actions when it comes to targeted advertising. But Facebook advertising expert Allie Bloyd believes adopting a subscription model is a knee-jerk reaction that could backfire.
Of course, some users may pay for an ad-free experience. But most people are totally fine with relevant ads, especially ads that are personalized and useful. Honestly, advertising is part of what makes social media free and accessible to everyone.
Instead of giving in to anti-ad rhetoric, Meta should launch a massive campaign to showcase the benefits of personalized advertising and help people understand how their data can improve user experience—not just to squeeze corporate profits.
