Alexander Krushinsky, Director of the Voice Digital Technologies Department at BSS LLC, linked the results obtained to problems more in the field of psychology: “AI, or more precisely, neural networks, are already used everywhere: in mapping services, to improve the quality of photos in mobile device cameras, in the recommendation algorithms of social networks and streaming services. And most people who see AI as a problem use these opportunities every day and are quite happy about it. AI, like any new technology, will of course create not only benefits, but also problems of both a technological and social nature. Just as the Internet, in addition to obvious benefits, also creates a number of problems, so AI will create problems that humanity will try to combat (or adapt to). As can be seen from the survey, Russians are generally less concerned about AI problems than residents of the United States and Europe, which is most likely due to the fact that in Russia, AI problems are simply less discussed in the public sphere.”

Roman Smirnov, Commercial bangladesh whatsapp resource Director of Devlonika LLC (Softline Group), reminded that AI is a very broad concept, and a number of new technologies, in particular, generative networks, can indeed cause a wary attitude: "A significant part of the algorithms has been used for a long time and with benefit to people. These are algorithms of recommendation systems and social networks, weather forecasts, analytics in applications. Society uses all this every day without fear and apprehension, intangibly increasing the level of everyday comfort. In this study, there is a feeling that people are worried precisely because of generative networks and large language models. That is, this is AI that appeared two years ago and goes beyond the implementation of a specific narrow task. These are new algorithms of general application. They are penetrating more and more industries and are increasingly found as tools in Russian companies. Here, Russians are concerned about cybersecurity issues, myths about the replacement of specialists by AI and a large amount of information that is difficult to understand if you are not an IT specialist."

does not consider the survey results to be evidence of Russian pessimism: "The survey results allow us to conclude that pessimism does not prevail in Russia after all - those who believe that AI will bring more problems are about the same number as in the world as a whole - 38% versus 34%. Another thing is that the level of awareness of AI technologies in general is somewhat lower. At the same time, the overall percentage of such answers worldwide was only about a third of the total number of respondents."

Partner and Development Director of HRlink Dmitry Makhlin linked the results obtained during the survey to the fact that there are many myths around AI: "If we look at the Gallup poll in regional terms, we will see that an even larger share of respondents in Western countries expect problems from AI than in Russia. In the Russian poll, the share of those who have not formed an opinion is 47%. The unknown is always frightening, people begin to speculate - some are positive, while others prefer to believe in a negative scenario."
