Search Keyword Targeting Overview
■What is search keyword targeting?
This is one of the display ad targeting functions that allows you to deliver ads to users who have searched for a specified keyword based on the keyword history searched in Yahoo!Japan in the past .
For example, if you set "insurance" in search keyword targeting, the display ad (image) will be delivered to users who have searched for "insurance" in the past.

Benefits of setting
① Low average cost per click
In search ads, the limited number of ad slots are competed for through an auction, so the cost per click tends to be higher than in display ads.
In contrast, search keyword targeting is a display ad with a large number of ad slots, so the cost per click tends to be lower.
② You can reach out to users who didn't click on your ads
Search keyword targeting allows you to deliver ads to users who have searched for a specified keyword in the past. Therefore, even if a user has never clicked on an ad, the ad can be displayed as long as they have searched. In this respect,
it is different from "retargeting ads," which deliver ads to users who have visited a site once.
3) Advertisements can be delivered to the same user across devices.
An internet user's search history is carried over even when they use different devices.
This means that you can take a continuous approach across multiple devices, such as delivering ads to the same user's smartphone based on keywords they searched for on a PC.

You cannot set a keyword unless the search volume in the past month is more than 1000 times.
You cannot set all the keywords you think of, but you must select from the keywords registered in Yahoo!Japan.
*Some keywords with less than 1000 times can be set, but the ad delivery tends to decrease.
